New Weibo Account for Georgetown China

We just wanted to make a quick announcement. For those of you who are using Sina’s Weibo (http://www.weibo.com), you can now start following Georgetown University’s China liason here:
http://www.weibo.com/georgetownuniversity
The Weibo microblog is in Chinese, and will be a channel for the university to communicate with students, parents, alumni and partners in China. It will have posts on Georgetown events, programs and people.

Pei Liu is the Georgetown International Liason to China, and she’ll be one of the main people using the account.

For those of you who don’t know, Weibo is China’s Twitter. It is now used by roughly 30% of all Chinese internet users, and has over 250 million registered accounts. If you’re interested in China and not on it, you should join now!
